Ndongani Samba, a defender from Congo, joins Asante Kotoko

Ndongani Samba Gilbani Oneil, a former Rahimo FC captain, has signed a two-year contract with Asante Kotoko.

On Thursday, the 23-year-old in Kumasi finished his medical checkup. He is the club’s fourth acquisition since the significant player revamp, following the announcement last week of the signings of two Sudanese and Great Olympics players Emmanuel Antwi.

Six-foot-tall Samba made 34 appearances for the Burkinabe team in all competitions, dishing out four assists and bagging two goals.

Samba announced his excitement about joining the Porcupine Warriors on scasantekotoko.com.“I am thrilled to be here because Kotoko is a big club. When my manager informed me of Kotoko’s interest, I immediately instructed him to halt any discussions with other clubs so I could focus on coming here. I am committed to proving my quality on the pitch and helping the team win the league.”

The club anticipates that Samba will have a big impact on the team as we aim to succeed in the next seasons.
