After a difficult start to their Premier League season, Arsenal is allegedly eyeing a January trade for Mohammed Kudus, a star for West Ham.
The Mirror claims that before to Mohammed Kudus’ £40 million move to West Ham last summer, the Gunners had attempted to sign him from Ajax, but financial difficulties derailed those plans.
Kudus may now finally move across London as Arsenal looks to improve their roster. Kudus may have an opportunity as a result of Leandro Trossard’s possible transfer to Al-Ittihad, a Saudi Pro League team.
The Arsenal supporters are frustrated because Trossard, who has recently battled to find form, has not scored a goal since September. He was dispossessed eleven times and failed to put a shot on goal in a lackluster display against Newcastle.
Kudus was sent off after West Ham’s 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur and is currently on suspension for violent behavior. He has maintained his prominence in spite of this setback, especially after being seen at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium after their thrilling 2-0 Champions League triumph over Paris Saint-Germain. Both Kudus and Arsenal supporters will be anxious to see if a deal can eventually come to fruition as January draws near.
