One God Forever Association makes the retired footballers in Cape Coast smile

The One God Forever Association honored some retired football players in Ghana’s Central Region for their commitment to the sport by giving them ten thousand Ghana cedis.Watch live sporting events online.

Mohammed Elias’ goal to ensure the welfare of retired athletes is embodied in this effort, which has the backing of Greater Accra Regional Minister Hon. Titus Glover and Vice President Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia.

Former Vipers FC players Joe Debrah, Rashid Yekini, and Justice Yekini were among the retired football players in attendance, along with former Hearts of Oak and Black Stars players Richard Ackon, Ekow Ghansah of Hearts of Oak, and Stephen Ghansah, who also played for Hearts of Oak and BA United.

Isaac Gordon, a former Dwarfs player, was also given ten thousand Ghana cedis (¢10,000) in cash.

The beneficiaries’ family expressed their happiness and appreciation for their thoughtful act in an interview with Atinka TV.

Established to help retired football players who adorned the game and provide for its members, the association is patronized by His Excellency Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and Hon. Titus Glover.

In an effort to cheer up retired players and Agyamang Duah, a former Ghanaian international who is suffering from a stroke, the company provided support to them last month.
