Kun Agüero banned from Twitch: Here Is Why

Kun Agüero great regularly covers major events live, but a mistake during the Champions League match resulted in his ejection.

Kun Agüero’s tenure in the Beautiful Game is remembered by every football fan.

Agüero has played for prestigious teams such as Atlético Madrid, Manchester City, Barcelona, and the Argentina national team, amassing an outstanding record of over 700 appearances, approximately 500 goals, and 200 assists. Notably, he has enjoyed several unforgettable moments with his colleague and another football legend, Leo Messi.

While Agüero remains an active figure in football, his current commitment goes beyond the field. He is presently the president of Kunisports and Kunitas, which compete in the Kings League and Queens League, respectively.

Furthermore, Agüero regularly shows off his streaming abilities on his Twitch account, where he is frequently accompanied by prominent personalities such as Ibai and Gerard Romero.

However, he just received an unwelcome surprise when he was banned from this particular platform.

Agüero’s suspension from Twitch arose from a copyright infringement event during Manchester City’s Champions League match against Real Madrid. Ancelotti’s team was defeated 4-0 by Pep Guardiola’s side in the encounter. Agüero had a deal with ESPN, Star+, and Disney to broadcast goal and highlight replays to fans, but he was not permitted to webcast the game.

Since the agreement they have with the aforementioned companies is for a limited time of two hours, Twitch detected Kun’s violation while he was live on Star+ during the second half of the match. Apparently, Kun made the mistake of leaving a video of the match uploaded so that it could be seen once the live broadcast had ended.

The good news for his supporters is that because the suspension only lasted 48 hours, he is already back in action. Kids, be mindful of those rights constraints.
