Club World Cup

FIFA, the world football governing body, has promised each of the four African teams participating in the first FIFA Club World Cup 2025 an incredible USD 9.55 million in participation fees.

Between June 14 and July 13, 2025, the United States will host the first FIFA Club World Cup, which will include 32 clubs, including four of Africa’s best:

Al Ahly (Egypt)

Esperance de Tunis (Tunisia)

Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa)

Wydad Athletic Club (Morocco)

All competing teams will split the massive USD 1 billion prize money, and FIFA will make sure that clubs on all continents have a fair and successful arrangement.

Clubs from Europe and South America will earn more money based on their market worth and past success, while clubs from Asia and CONCACAF would receive the same amount as clubs from Africa.
