
Otto Addo, the Black Stars’ head coach, has compared their forthcoming World Cup Qualifiers match against Madagascar to a minor championship.
Kickoff for the Matchday six matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers vs Ghana is set for 19:00 GMT tonight at the Barea at the Al Hoceima Grand Stadium.
“We need everyone to be on their toes. We don’t need 98%, we don’t need 99%, we need 100%,” Addo told the Ghana FA media
“This [game against Madagascar] is like a small final and if we win this game, then we really going towards to qualify but it’s going to be very tough.

“We observed the Madagascar team and they have done really well especially in their last game so they are in good form and it’s going to be a tough game,” he added.
Ghana presently leads Group I with 12 points following their decisive victory over Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium. They will look to maintain their momentum going into their matchup with the Malagasy.
