Antoine Semenyo Promises To Avail Him For The Black Stars

I will always avail myself for the Black Stars – Antoine Semenyo

The sensational Bournemouth attacker, Antoine Semenyo, promised to never turn his back on the Ghana Black Stars, making it clear that he’s ready and will always avail himself for the team.

The Ghana Black Stars forward has cemented his position as a key player for the national team. Since his debut in June 2022, Antonie has made 21 appearances and scored three goals.

After the Black Stars’ 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification failure, the former Bristol City player helped the team win back-to-back games in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, reviving national pride.

“I feel that anything that will stop me from the national team is obviously injury. I will always avail myself. I always want to play for the nation. It’s being a dream to play for the national team and it an honour to represent the country as well” he told JoySports.

In addition to helping the Black Stars defeat Madagascar handily in the fifth and sixth rounds of the qualifications, Semenyo scored as the team thrashed Chad 5-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The much sought-after forward has returned to his English club, Bournemouth, as the team prepares for the match this weekend.

When the World Cup qualifications resume in September 2025, the Black Stars will reassemble.
