Daniel Kofi Kyereh shares great moments as Black Stars player

Daniel Kofi Kyereh talks about his favorite memories playing with the Black Stars.

The Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh shared some memorable moments with the Black Stars before his recent injury kept him out of the squad.

Since deciding to represent Ghana at the international level in 2021, Kofi Kyereh has made 18 appearances for the Black Stars.

But lately, injuries have plagued his career, preventing him from playing for more than a year.

Additionally, the midfielder for SC Freiburg hasn’t featured for the Black Stars since 2022.

The 29-year-old, however, says he has many special memories with the Black Stars and takes pride in representing Ghana. The highlight of Kofi Kyereh’s tenure with Ghana, Daniel Kofi Kyereh said, is still one of the 2022 World Cup qualifying matches.

“Some of my most memorable moments playing for Ghana are etched in my heart forever. I vividly recall the electrifying atmosphere in the stadium during a crucial qualifier—a moment when the roar of the crowd felt like a powerful force, lifting us all as one united team,” he told Rolling Stone.

“Every cheer, every drumbeat resonated deeply with my identity and reminded me why I fight on the field. These moments aren’t just about winning matches; they’re about the shared passion and pride that connects every Ghanaian around the globe.”
