Vincent Sowah-Odotei, a board member of Hearts of Oak, has reassured supporters that the team would be competitive in the forthcoming season.
The Hearts of Oak are hoping to recover from a difficult season in which they only avoided relegation by finishing 14th in the league after defeating Bechem United 3-2.
A recent defeat against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the Democracy Cup has sparked anger and concern among the fans as the new season approaches.
However, Sowah-Odotei emphasized that the club is actively working to strengthen the squad.
“We are on track. It’s not a simple, linear process—many factors come into play. But we are managing all those factors to ensure that by the start of the season, we will have a strong squad that can make us competitive,” Sowah-Odotei said on ChannelOne Sports.
