It has been evident that Inaki Williams has not been on the level Ghanaians expected from him since joining the Black Stars; he has struggled to adapt to the playing style of the team and has not been in the form he was in at Athletic Bilbao.

He made his debut for the Black Stars in September 2022 and has managed to score 1 goal in 17 appearances.

Ghana Football Association shared a video on their official page that features Inaki Williams. In the viral video, the striker made a great promise to score a goal for Ghana against Chad; he said, “Hello, Ghanaians. How are you doing? I’m home. On Friday, I’ll score a goal. See you.”

From this statement, many Ghanaians have shown support for the striker to end his goalscoring drought and make an impact on the pitch for the Black Stars of Ghana.

The Black Stars will host Chad tonight at the Accra Sports Stadium in a pivotal match that could significantly boost Ghana’s chances of securing a spot in the 2026 World Cup.

Ghana currently sits in third place, level on points with second-place Comoros, as they face Chad and Morocco in their upcoming fixtures.
