Laryea Kingston meet the Ayew brothers
Laryea Kingston, a former Black Stars player, recently spoke amicably with Andre and Jordan Ayew as they got ready for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar.
Kingston expressed his delight on Instagram and called his exchange with the Ayew brothers “amazing.” Prior to the Ghanaian national team’s departure for the important qualification in the Island country, this encounter took place.
Andre and Jordan Ayew both have extensive experience playing on the international football stage, having competed for the Black Stars in a number of competitions.
The older of the two brothers, Andre Ayew, has attended two AFCON championship games. He saw Ghana lose to Egypt in 2010 and to Ivory Coast in 2015. Jordan Ayew participated in the 2015 AFCON championship game, which Ghana’s team lost against the Ivory Coast national team.
A victory will guarantee the Black Stars’ qualifying for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations competition. Since Monday, the team has been practicing in Accra.
On Friday, the squad departed Ghana to Antananarivo, where they will face Madagascar in their penultimate Group E match on Sunday.
