Madagascar's game will more difficult than that of Chad – Otto Addo

Otto Addo, the coach of Ghana, has cautioned that the Black Stars’ upcoming match against Madagascar will be more difficult than their 5-0 triumph against Chad.

On Monday, March 24, in Morocco, the Black Stars will play Madagascar in their sixth-round 2026 World Cup qualifying match. Addo thinks the team have to turn their attention to the game right away because it will be more difficult.

“First of all, I am happy that we won, also that we scored a lot of goals,” Addo said after the Chad match.

“But to be honest, we have to concentrate on Monday. It will be a different game. It will be much, much difficult, and we are already thinking ahead of that game.”

Antoine Semenyo gave the Black Stars the lead in the second minute, and they dominated the match against Chad.

Ghana put on a great offensive display, with goals from Inaki Williams, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Salisu, and Ernest Nuamah.

With 12 points from the win, Ghana now leads Group I by two points over Madagascar.

Addo and his team will want to keep up their momentum and solidify their place in the competition for a spot at the 2026 World Cup with a pivotal matchup against Madagascar coming up.
