On Thursday night, FC Kryvbas lost 2-1 to FC Viktoria Plzeň in their Europa League qualifying match. Ghanaian international Prince Kwabena Adu scored for FC Kryvbas.
With help from Cameroonian defender Ivan Dibango, Prince Kwabena Adu scored a beautiful goal just 20 minutes into the first leg of their qualification encounter, starting for Kryvbas. Kryvbas took the lead thanks to his strike, but it did not last long.
Jiri Panos and Daniel Vasulin’s goals in the second half gave Viktoria Plzeň a huge boost, allowing them to come back from behind and win 2-1.
Adu made a great showing, but his goal was insufficient to give Kryvbas a win.
Before being replaced, Prince Kwabena Adu participated in the game for 81 minutes.
The second leg of the qualification tie promises to be a challenging task for Kryvbas as they aim to overturn the deficit and progress further in the competition.
