After Managing Director Julius Ben Emunah resigned, Accra Hearts of Oak formed an Interim Management Committee (IMC) to manage the club's operations.

On Friday, September 11, the club's Board of Directors made the announcement as Hearts started the process of selecting a new management group.

Former Ghana FA Chairman Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe will serve as the chair of the five-person committee, which will oversee the club's operations throughout the changeover.

Mr. Akwasi Agyemang will be in charge of operations, and Mr. Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom will be in charge of finance.


Hon Vincent Sowah Odotei has been named in charge of Administration, with National Chapters Committee (NCC) Chairman Alhaji Yusif Abdulai responsible for Mobilization. The Board said the committee has been put in place to ensure continuity while the club searches for a permanent management team. “The Board of Directors wishes to assure all stakeholders that it is taking all steps necessary to ensure that the Club continues its pursuit of pre-eminence not just in the country but continentally,” the statement said. The development follows Emunah’s resignation as Managing Director earlier this week, bringing his seven-month tenure at the club to an end.
