FIFA President Gianni Infantino and President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku had a historic meeting at the FIFA Offices in Paris, France, which was a huge boost for Ghana football.

The FIFA President, who had invited President Simeon-Okraku to meet with him to address issues pertaining to the game’s development in Ghana and throughout Africa, requested this meeting.

The FIFA President greeted President Simeon-Okraku warmly at the FIFA Offices in Paris, expressing his pleasure at meeting the head of the Ghana Football Association and exchanging ideas for the development of the game in Ghana.

Positive vibes pervaded the meeting, and President Simeon-Okraku’s comments to the media following the meeting demonstrated the value and forward-thinking character of his discussion with President Infantino.

Prior to sharing some important details on how the FIFA President’s and the Ghana Football Association’s visions align, President Simeon-Okraku thanked the FIFA President for the cordial welcome.

“First of all, I would want to say ‘thank you’ to the President [Gianni Infantino] for the invitation. We were here to speak about football on the global stage and, obviously, on the African continent, zooming in to Ghana. FIFA, led by the President, has been at the forefront of support for the development of football., especially in Africa.
