MTN FA CUP WINNERS SINCE 1958

Since the MTN FA Cup’s establishment in 1958, when Asante Kotoko defeated fierce rivals Accra Hearts of Oak to win the inaugural edition, nineteen (19) different clubs have claimed the trophy.

Before the Real Republicans seized over in 1961, 1962, and 1963, the Porcupine Warriors won the championship three times in a row (1958, 1959, and 1960). Before the year 2000, the trophy was touched by the following teams: Giants, Sekondi Eleven Wise, Sekondi Hasaacas, Accra Hearts of Oak, Accra Great Olympics, Okwahu United, and Dumas Boys of GTP.

After an eight-year break, telecom behemoth MTN returned as the main sponsor in 2010–2011. This helped Nania FC win the 2011 Accra Sports Stadium title with a 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko.

Reigning Champions Nsoatreman FC beat regional rivals Bofoakwa Tano 5-4 on penalties after playing out a 1-1 draw in 120 minutes in the 2023/24 final.
